Facilities management and support services at Fiona Stanley Hospital.

The State Government is calling for expressions of interest from organisations capable of providing facilities management and support services for Fiona Stanley Hospital.

WA Health has undertaken a comprehensive review of the best and most cost-effective ways to provide a wide range of non-clinical facilities management and support services such as catering, cleaning, maintenance, waste management and coordination tasks (amongst others). 

Preliminary analysis indicates that contracting private companies to provide these services could help deliver a more efficient and sustainable public health service.
If a private provider is appointed, it would need to work collaboratively with the project team, designers and key stakeholders to plan and operate what will be a key piece of public infrastructure for all Western Australians.

Innovative Goods and Services Registration

The Department of Health is seeking registrations of interest from organisations and companies interested in providing innovative solutions and cutting-edge goods and services to the Fiona Stanley Hospital project and other major health infrastructure projects.

It is particularly interested in assessing goods and services that are innovative and consistent with the modern service design principles of world-class hospital facilities.

Construction tender packages

In addition to the provision of the above goods and services, Brookfield Multiplex is listing its procurement / tender packages for its Stage One works on the ProjectConnect website. Suppliers are invited to register their interest online. Initial packages have now been posted and additional packages will be added when prepared. Please check the website regularly for new tender packages and rolling closing dates. Registrations of interest must be made against each individually posted package – there is no blanket registration.

Please note: companies are required to first register their details with the Department of Health prior to registering their interest against the construction tender packages.
