Consultation with a wide range of stakeholders across Western Australia, Australia and the world has been a very important part of the development of Fiona Stanley Hospital.
Fiona Stanley Hospital’s team of architects and health planners have consulted with hundreds of people over the past four years to design Fiona Stanley Hospital, including medical, nursing, allied health and other healthcare staff, private, non-government and research organisations, patients and members of the public.
The continued success of the project depends on ongoing consultation with all key stakeholders, including clinicians and other staff, government agencies, site neighbours, community and support groups.
A broad community consultation program around the design and planning of the hospital has been ongoing since mid-2006.
