Fiona Stanley Hospital

Travel and transport

» Accessible for all

Travel to and from Fiona Stanley Hospital will be made easier for staff, patients and visitors because of the close proximity to Perth city – which is only 15 kilometres away – and the Murdoch bus / rail interchange. The hospital is bordered by three major access roads – Kwinana Freeway, Murdoch Drive and South Street.

Regular, direct public transport services will be available between Murdoch interchange and the hospital. During peak hours, trains will arrive at Murdoch Station every five minutes, with two trains every 15 minutes at non-peak times. A bus will pass by the hospital every two minutes at peak times and every five minutes at non-peak times.

The hospital is easily accessed through a network of pedestrian and cycling paths with end-of-trip facilities at the hospital.

Patients, visitors and staff will have access to 3,600 parking bays in basement, ground level and multi-storey parking. (Parking bay allocation and pricing will be consistent with the WA Health Access and Parking Strategy).
